Chintu is the son-in-law of an iconic comedy actor, the late AVS. Incidentally, AVS's daughter Shanti is also a TV artiste and Chintu is her husband. His real name is Srinivas. He was also seen in movies like 'Avunu' 'F2' and many others taking up both comedy and serious character roles.
